The tree of life and sunrise symbolize the life of Christ growing in us through
The Resurrection. The shafts of wheat signify the presence of Christ for us in
The Eucharist. This is a symbol in keeping with the name of our parish.

THE TABERNACLE - Did you know our Tabernacle, located in the Chapel, was lovingly made and donated to our Church by a parishioner to celebrate the opening of Ascension parish 25 years ago? As special as our Tabernacle is, it holds something even more amazing, the Body of Christ. As Catholics we believe in the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist, the Church tells us that is is Jesus 'truly, really and substantially'.
We welcome you to take a moment to kneel in prayer in front of our Tabernacle before or after Mass to thank God for the great gift of His Son.
