MOST HOLY BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST SUNDAY

“And Abram gave him one tenth of everything (Genesis 14.20). Abram knew that his successful campaign to rescue Lot depended upon God. On this feast of the Lord's Body and Blood, recognise your dependence upon the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for your life in this world and your salvation in the world to come. Like Abram, make a return to God in gratitude for such abundance.
No one is immune to physical pain, failure, disgrace or embarrassment; the key to having stamina is not endurance but attention. God made himself food for us, and unlike regular food that when digested becomes part of who we are, in the Eucharistic meal we become part of the food served. When we partake of God’s extreme generosity, of this incredible gift, we receive the fullness of Christ, and our lives will not spin out of control, we will overcome our divisions, seeing one another as brothers and sisters gathered in God’s potter wheel.

THE SMALL CHAPEL – A VERY SACRED PLACE – The Blessed Sacrament is present at all times, please conduct yourself with dignity and respect. Food and/or drink are not allowed. Thank you.

TOGETHER IN ACTION - THE POWER OF FAITH AT WORK
God made himself food for us so that we may come together as the body of Christ, He became food for us so that we might share with others. In a world of surplus for some and scarcity for many let us give of our abundance. Let us contribute generously!
