Sacrament of FIRST HOLY COMMUNION            

Welcome to Ascension Catholic Parish and to the registration for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. 

First Holy Communion is a sacrament, which Jesus gave us at the Last Supper in which bread and wine are consecrated and consumed in remembrance of the death of Jesus.

Please review the following information before completing the attached form. 

This program is open to all children in grade 2 or higher who have received the sacrament of Baptism or Profession of Faith in the Roman Catholic Church.

Self Registrations are being accepted for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion from February 14^th to March 7^th, 2011.  For those parents who need assistance with the registration, help is available at the Parent Information Sessions on Monday, March 7^th or Friday, March 4^th at 6:00 pm at Ascension Parish.

Catechist Group Leader - The sacramental programs at Ascension Catholic Parish are designed to accommodate the needs of our faith community.  Volunteers are required to lead the student preparation sessions.  Parents are welcome and encouraged to either lead the sessions or assist while attending.  Please indicate your choice on the registration form.
