Baptism of Children Of Catechetical Age 
Age 7 and older
​​Mark 10:14 "let the children come to me, and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

Ascension Catholic Parish welcomes your older children seeking to know Jesus,  and is here to support your family in your continued growth in the Catholic faith. In collaboration with our schools Ascension Catholic Parish offers a program for Baptizing children who are in grades 1-6. If your child has not received the Sacrament of Baptism, we extend this invitation to you. 

Registration for 2024 / 2025 is closed.

 The Baptism Preparation involves one session, both the parents and child(ern)are to participate. During the session we provide the family with the teachings of the Church and preparation for the Baptism. Upon completion of the session and submitting all the required paperwork, your child(ern) will be Baptized.

Ascension Catholic Parish requires the following paperwork.
Permission and Commitment Forms are emailed to families
​ upon receiving the registration :

• Baptism Registration Form - register below or through the office
• Parish Registration Form - available on Ascension website ascensionparish.ca
• Copy of the child's Birth certificate 
• Copy of parent(s) Baptismal certificate 
• Copy of Godparents Baptismal certificate
• Non-Catholic Parents - Permission to Baptize Form 
• Non-Catholic Parents - Commitment of Faith Form
